Money on the Streets: Ripples

Money on the Streets: Ripples distributed grants of $2000 to Assembly members, inviting them to keep or redistribute funds amongst their community.

Titled "Ripples" because of the effect we know Assembly Members have on their communities, this first component of Money in the Streets focused on the Assembly. As a group of artists and cultural bearers, we want to make sure we put the 'masks' on us first.
Through Money in the Streets: Ripples, each person in the Assembly has been given $2,000 to use according to their needs. Assembly members were invited to use these funds for their own work, or to forward all or a portion of it to another individual, collective, or organization in Philadelphia who aligns with the Assembly's vision.
